Make a Will

There are dozens of valid reasons for writing a Will, and just as many to put it off! However, the longer you leave it the higher the chances are that, should you die, the ones closest to you will suffer as a result. A Last Will and Testament is probably the most important document you'll write in your life as it's here you specify how your assets are to be distributed according to your wishes.

Making a Will's straight forward, six step process makes it possible to write a will quickly and efficiently, enabling you to complete this important task without any hassle. Read the information below to see how your Legal Will can be ready to sign within days.

Six Simple Steps to

Write a Will

Request our no obligation Will Writing Brochure by providing your contact details in our Make a Will form below. The brochure provides all the information you need on our Will Writing Service and prices.
If you're happy to proceed a Will Adviser will arrange a convenient time to call back to ask you some simple questions on what is to be included in your Will (and your partner if Wills for a couple).
Your personal Will writer telephones you at the agreed time and notes your wishes on a Will instruction form. Your Will writer passes the Will instruction form to the legal department who then prepares your Will.
Once completed, your Will is posted to you together with clear guidance notes on how it should be signed, dated and witnessed correctly.
Read through your Will very carefully to ensure it exactly meets your wishes and nothing has been omitted or forgotten. Your Will Adviser will make a follow up call to check if you want any part explained or changes made. If modifications are required, a new Will is drawn up and sent to you.
Once you are happy with your Will, you must sign it in the presence of two witnesses. Witnesses must be over 18 years of age and cannot be beneficiaries or married to beneficiaries in your Will. You must then date your Will and keep it in a safe place. (Note that you are responsible for the proper signing, dating and witnessing of your Will. This does not form part of the writing service.)

Anything else?

That’s it! Your Will is now safely completed and finished. Remember to tell your executor(s) about its existence and place of safe keeping. Another thing to bear in mind is that your circumstances will change over time, so check your Will periodically to ensure it still meets your current needs.
